Associate Professor IV at the Federal University of Pará (UFPA). Member of the permanent faculty of the Graduate Program in Architecture and Urbanism (PPGAU / UFPA) and the Graduate Program in Economics (PPGE / UFPA). Graduated in Architecture and Urbanism from the Federal University of Pará (1990), Master in Urban Planning from the University of Brasília (1994) and PhD in Architecture from Oxford Brookes University, UK (2002). His current research interest is the convergence between the extensive urbanization observed in the Eastern Amazon, the spatial arrangements of human settlements in the region and the defense of the right to socio-biodiversity .
