Patricia Schappo

Patricia is a PhD researcher in the Department of Urban Studies and Planning at the University of Sheffield. She graduated in Architecture and Planning in the Federal University of Santa Catarina and pursued Masters in Human Geography (Radboud University) and in International Cooperation in Urban Development (Mundus Urbano Programme - TU Darmstadt and International University of Catalunya). Her research interests are varied, but her current PhD involves a postcolonial comparison of traditional marketplaces and the governance and planning for those, from a Social Justice perspective.
