Roberto Monte-Mor

Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG)

Graduated in Architecture and Urbanism from UFMG, Master in Urban and Regional Planning from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro - UFRJ, and PhD in Urban Planning from the University of California, Los Angeles - UCLA. Associate Professor at the Center for Development and Regional Planning - Cedeplar, at the Faculty of Economic Sciences and at the Postgraduate Center in Architecture and Urbanism at UFMG. He teaches and researches on the following themes: urban and regional and metropolitan planning, regional and urban economy, popular and solidarity economy, urbanization, organization of space and environment, production of space among traditional populations, urbanization and development alternatives in the Amazon.
